The national Finnish INCUBATE project arranges an open dissemination webinar on 8th of November at 11:15 EET on LEO PNT, and the Finnish National Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Workshop will be held on 18th November 2024 at the Aalto University Campus in Espoo Finland 9:00-15:30

Event 1: 8th November 2024
The national Finnish INCUBATE project arranges an open dissemination webinar on 8th of November at 11:15 EET on LEO PNT. The Nordic Institute of Navigation is happy to co-host this online event. The INCUBATE project partners are Aalto University, Finnish Geospatial Research Institute (FGI), Tampere University and University of Vaasa and the three-year project (2021-2024) was funded by the Technology Industries of Finland Centennial Foundation and the Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation. LEO PNT is a promising technology for future resilient position, navigation and timing.

 

Event 2: 18th November 2024
The workshop is a collaboration between the European Space Agency and the University of Aalto. The workshop will focus on in-depth technical discussions and exploration of areas for strategic collaboration between institutions, with particular focus to the details and execution of the NAVISP Programme alongside the strengths and priorities of the Finnish PNT ecosystem.


The event is intended to encourage cross-sector collaboration with industry leaders, offer personalized consultations with ESA and Finnish representatives to address individual pursuits within the PNT technology landscape.
